Proton's Cooling Tower Project completed - April 2011
Cooling Towers project is successfully completed. The cooling towers are owned & operated by Proton, to provide cooling water to our client Kemira Chemicals, Botlek (Netherlands).
Proton's Cooling Tower Project nears completion - January 2011
On January 4th, 2011 the highest point of the Cooling Tower Project was reached. For this reason a small meeting was planned with contractors, the Proton team and the Kemira employees involved in the project at the Kemira Botlek site. Hans Vrijenhoef mentioned the fast construction period, but regrets that even with such small project still one safety incident was registered. Happily, the person has recovered fully from the injury, but he stated that we should keep the focus on the jobs to be executed safely in the field. He further mentioned that the electrical work shall be finalised soon and that a start-up early February shall be expected. After coffee and Cake, all started the work again.
